Role Overview
The Sales Representative (Medical and Pharmaceutical Products) will be responsible for promoting and selling ACP Pharmaceuticals’ pharmaceutical and healthcare-related products and services to healthcare providers, pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, and other industry stakeholders.
The role requires a commercially driven individual with strong communication and relationship management skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell ACP Pharmaceuticals’ pharmaceutical and therapeutic products to existing and prospective clients across the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with pharmacies, healthcare providers, clinics, distributors, wholesalers, and other industry stakeholders
- Visit existing and prospective clients to establish, develop, and maintain strong professional business relationships
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable pharmaceutical and healthcare products based on client and market needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ACP Pharmaceuticals’ product range, industry developments, competitor activity, and market trends within the pharmaceutical sector
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, process sales orders, and assist with contract arrangements where required
- Coordinate product supply, delivery arrangements, and ongoing customer service support to ensure efficient service delivery
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products and services provided and assist in resolving customer enquiries or concerns
- Prepare sales activity reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business expenses
- Report on sales performance, customer feedback, market conditions, and emerging business opportunities to management
- Attend meetings, product presentations, conferences, and industry events to promote ACP Pharmaceuticals’ products and services
- Ensure all sales and promotional activities are conducted in accordance with applicable pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, or technical sales
- Minimum 12 months of relevant work experience in a related sales, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical products environment
- Previous experience in business development, account management, or pharmaceutical sales highly regarded
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Commercially driven with the ability to achieve sales and business development targets
- Current driver’s licence preferred
Salary
Salary: AUD 76,000 – AUD 86,000 Plus superannuation
