About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Sandwich Hand and customer service person to join our vibrant team at Small Doses Cafe' in St Leonards, NSW. As a Sandwich Hand, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality sandwiches and other food items to delight our customers. Must be available Monday to Friday for 7am starts.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps and other food items to our high standards

2. Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, following relevant food safety regulations

3. Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer orders using Point of Sale systems

4. Work collaboratively with the wider cafe team to support daily operations

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a similar sandwich or food preparation role

2. Minimum 6-12 months of sandwich or food preparation experience required

3. Must be available everyday Monday to Friday with 7am start

4. Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude

5. Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure

6. Valid Australian work visa or authorisation required
