About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee payroll and accounts payable, ensure timely month-end reporting, and manage the fixed asset register, all while ensuring compliance with AASB and our internal controls.
What you’ll do:
Review payroll accuracy and ensure compliance with legislation & company policies
Supervise and check AP processing, coding, and approvals
Prepare & review month-end journals, reconciliations, and management reports
Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation, and impairment reviews
Support internal/external audits and uphold strong financial controls
Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in accounting, including payroll and month-end
CPA/CA qualified
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with Sage or Jobpac will be beneficial
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Industry Exposure
Construction, maintenance, or project-based industry experience desirable
