About The Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee payroll and accounts payable, ensure timely month-end reporting, and manage the fixed asset register, all while ensuring compliance with AASB and our internal controls.

What you’ll do:

• Review payroll accuracy and ensure compliance with legislation & company policies

• Supervise and check AP processing, coding, and approvals

• Prepare & review month-end journals, reconciliations, and management reports

• Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation, and impairment reviews

• Support internal/external audits and uphold strong financial controls

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in accounting, including payroll and month-end

• CPA/CA qualified

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Experience with Sage or Jobpac will be beneficial

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Preferred Industry Exposure

• Construction, maintenance, or project-based industry experience desirable
