About the Division
The Infrastructure Strategy and Planning Division plays a critical role in shaping the future of Wollongong by planning, managing and optimising the infrastructure that supports our growing community.

This includes integrating climate resilience, sustainability and long-term lifecycle planning into how infrastructure is maintained, renewed and upgraded.
As Council's lead for infrastructure planning across the Local Government Area, the team works closely with operational service teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure plans are not only strategically sound, but practical, achievable and aligned to community needs.
