ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team within the mining sector. This role requires a proactive and commercially minded BA who can confidently engage stakeholders at all levels, drive outcomes, improve business processes, and identify practical solutions to complex challenges. Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong relationships, think creatively, and deliver results in a collaborative, low-ego environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Lead requirements gathering, business analysis, process mapping, and solution design activities.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making sessions.
• Analyse current and future-state processes and develop recommendations to support business objectives.
• Drive initiatives from discovery through to implementation, ensuring successful business outcomes.
• Prepare high-quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, and project artefacts.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to manage competing priorities and resolve business challenges.

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the mining industry.
  Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the business.
  
• Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, process mapping, and business transformation initiatives.
  
• A self-driven professional who can quickly establish direction, work autonomously, and bring proven BA methodologies, templates, and best practices.
  
• An innovative thinker who can challenge the status quo and identify practical solutions to business problems.
  
• Personable, adaptable, and easy to work with, with a collaborative approach and a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
  
• Excellent facilitation, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
