As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a hands‑on technical leadership role in building, operating and uplifting CleanCo’s enterprise data platform.
You’ll focus on accelerating data onboarding, improving pipeline reliability, and ensuring data is secure, well‑governed and ready for analytics, reporting and machine learning.
In this role you will
Own and continuously improve the enterprise data onboarding and ingestion framework
Design, build and operate scalable data pipelines across batch and near real‑time use cases
Support a single source of truth by implementing consistent data modelling and medallion architecture patterns
Translate business rules into reliable, production‑ready data pipelines
Work closely with Insights Developers and Machine Learning Engineers to enable downstream use cases
Partner with Security and Governance teams to embed appropriate controls and standards
Review and uplift the quality of work delivered by project‑based data engineers
Your work will directly enable faster access to trusted data and improve decision making across CleanCo.
On your first day you will have:
Strong experience building and operating enterprise‑scale data pipelines
Hands‑on expertise with Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric and Data Factory
Solid Python and Spark skills for data engineering and automation
Practical experience with dimensional data modelling and analytics‑ready datasets
Ability to translate business needs into clear data and pipeline designs
Experience working in enterprise environments with governance, security and quality expectations
