We are looking for a senior Data Modeller to join the team and design and build data models across the raw, silver, and provision layers of the platform.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Design and build data models in the silver and provision layers of a Databricks-based lakehouse platform.
- Model Salesforce data to support regulatory and sustainability reporting use cases (e.g. industry classification, premium reporting)
- Contribute to the migration of a legacy SQL Server data estate into the Databricks platform.
- Apply Data Vault 2.0 methodology consistently across modelling work
- Support downstream consumption patterns into the provision/gold layer.
- 8–10 years' experience in data modelling (minimum 5)
- Strong hands-on Databricks experience
- Demonstrable Data Vault 2.0 project experience
- Dimensional and 3NF modelling across medallion (raw/silver/gold) architectures
- Advanced SQL and PySpark
- Strong communication skills; comfortable working across AU and UK time zones
- Insurance domain experience (policy, claims, premium)
- Familiarity with Salesforce data structures
- Exposure to regulatory or sustainability/climate reporting (e.g. TCFD, AASB S2, ISSB)
- SQL Server to Databricks migration experience
