Northern Star has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Environmental Advisor reporting to the Environmental Superintendent. This is a residential position based at our KCGM Operations in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, working a 5:2 4:3 roster - 9 hours per day.
You will be supported by experienced leaders and will be responsible for facilitating compliance monitoring & reporting with our legal obligations, implementing project approvals and providing supervision & guidance to the KCGM Environmental team.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience: 5+ years relevant experience in the mining/resources industry, experience with GIS, preferably ArcGIS Pro, and other database management programs such as Power BI and SharePoint, excellent understanding of environment/mining legislation and WA approvals, strong knowledge of environmental impacts and controls, solid understanding of Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001) and auditing processes organised and effective in fast-paced environements; strong stakeholder collaboration, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree majoring in an Environment related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution, current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
