The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on development role that combines software development, systems integration, database design and client interaction. You will play a key role in delivering solutions for our clients, mentoring team members and contributing to technical decision-making across a variety of projects.

This is an in-office position based in Frenchs Forest. We believe close collaboration helps our team share knowledge, support one another and deliver the best outcomes for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core applications

• Building and supporting full-stack web applications

• Designing and implementing integrations between business systems

• Developing and consuming REST APIs

• Designing, querying and optimising SQL Server databases

• Creating views, reporting datasets and data warehouse solutions

• Troubleshooting and enhancing existing client applications

• Participating in solution design, architecture and technical planning

• Working directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver outcomes

• Mentoring and supporting team members

• Contributing to project estimation and technical scoping

• Managing your workload and delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes

About You

You are a developer who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of your work and can operate independently when required.

You understand that great software development is more than writing code. It involves understanding business requirements, making sound technical decisions, communicating effectively and delivering reliable solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET

• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core MVC

• Experience developing full-stack web applications using:

  • HTML

  • CSS/SASS

  • JavaScript

  • Modern front-end frameworks such as React

• Strong SQL Server experience including:

  • Database design

  • Query optimisation

  • Views and reporting datasets

  • Data integration and transformation

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs

• Experience using Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration

• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns and engineering principles

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Desirable Skills

• Microsoft Azure experience

• Experience with cloud-hosted applications and services

• Experience with data warehousing and reporting solutions

• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment

• Experience mentoring junior developers

• Experience contributing to project estimation and planning
