Senior .NET Technical Architect – Microservices & Cloud

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Technical Architect to lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and delivering modern, cloud-native applications using microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and scalable cloud platforms.

This role combines architecture leadership, hands-on engineering, and mentoring, making it ideal for someone passionate about building high-performance, resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of large-scale enterprise applications

  • Drive microservices-based design using .NET Core, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture (Kafka/Streaming)

  • Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS or Azure

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformation programs

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams

  • Establish and enforce best practices (OOPS, SOLID, design patterns, secure coding)

  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools

  • Ensure application observability, performance tuning, and monitoring


    Must Have Skills & Experience

    • 10+ years of experience in .NET Core, microservices architecture, and REST APIs

    • Strong experience in event streaming platforms (Kafka or similar)

    • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) – Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM

    • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions / CI-CD pipelines

    • Strong frontend exposure with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React or NextJS (preferred)

    • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics (or similar)

    • Strong database experience with SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)

    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and drive modern engineering practices
      Good to Have

      • Exposure to mobile application development (Android/iOS)

      • Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments


      Bonus

      • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.)

      • Passion for driving AI-enabled engineering practices and code reviews
