The Role:

Join a high-impact Operational Technology team delivering critical data and automation solutions across complex energy and infrastructure environments. This role will see you working across AVEVA PI, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, SCADA and enterprise data platforms to support real-time operational monitoring, analytics, automation and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support across AVEVA PI Historian, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision and related OT data platforms.
• Design, build and maintain PI AF structures, including hierarchies, templates, calculations, event frames and operational logic.
• Develop and enhance PI Vision dashboards to support operational monitoring, engineering insights, and data quality reporting.
• Support energy operations use cases, including gas (linepack, scheduling, nominations) and power assets (generation, renewables, and SCADA systems).
• Deliver data integration and reporting support across PI, SQL, Databricks and enterprise platforms, ensuring accurate and reliable data flows.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Commercial and IT teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, support handover activities and provide knowledge transfer to operational and technical stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with AVEVA PI System (PI Historian, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision) in operational environments
• Ability to design and maintain PI AF models, calculations, event frames and operational data structures
• Experience building PI Vision dashboards for monitoring, reporting and data quality insights
• Solid understanding of industrial data environments (OT/SCADA), ideally within energy, utilities, gas, or power
• Experience integrating PI with enterprise data platforms such as SQL, Databricks, or reporting tools an advantage
• Familiarity with gas or energy operations (e.g. linepack, scheduling, nominations) highly regarded
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and quality
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across technical and operational stakeholders
• Experience producing technical documentation and supporting knowledge transfer
