We believe in empowering our employees to reach their full potential and drive organisational success.  We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our highly successful Victorian service team.  

About the Role
As the Service Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding and value adding services to our Victorian customers.   

You will be instrumental in fostering a positive performance-based culture that promotes employee engagement, safety, well-being, and professional growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of skilled tradespeople and apprentices to deliver high-quality work and achieve client satisfaction.

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers

  • Planning and scheduling work to ensure customers' needs are met

  • Growing the business in line with company objectives by identifying opportunities, preparing quotations and converting leads to sales

  • Developing the skills and expertise of the service team 

  • Managing the departmental budget

The Individual
It is essential that you have:

  • A background as an experienced and trade-qualified refrigeration technician (with industrial experience as an essential requirement)

  • A solid understanding of commercial and industrial service and maintenance, and a strong commitment to safety

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organisation skills

  • A commitment to innovation and the ability to navigate complex challenges

  • A track record of successfully managing people 

  • Experience in all facets of customer management and sales development

  • Negotiation skills, coupled with resilience and flexibility
