ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working a work/life balance roster, you'll join the amazing team at One Rail providing support to operations across Queesnland. With a crew of around 40 train drivers, you will know what it takes to keep things running smoothly. Reporting to the Rail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating real time operations to deliver the live run plan through effective management of assets and crewing resources.

The newly expanded depot and live run control room is set up with everything you’ll need at our  Sarina Depot, meaning you can focus on the important stuff.

ABOUT YOU:

You're a strong communicator, capable of prioritising competing tasks and adept at solving problems on the fly. You'll enjoy working in a role that provides a good mix of routine and adhoc tasks and you'll be comfortable working in a team and as an individual. Your professional approach to work will shine through and you won't shy away from responsibility.

So, what do you need?

• Sound numeracy and literacy skills

• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot challenges as they arise

• Dedicated commitment to safety including working within stringent safety protocoles and procedures at all times.

• Ability to work a 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays

• Excellent work ethics e.g. punctuality and integrity

• Hold an unrestricted motor vehicle licence

• Computer skills, including the ability to prepare documents, including reports, and the use of  Excel spreadsheets.

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal

• Train Drivers, Management, and other internal stakeholders

External 

• Customers, Contractors, Suppliers, and other external stakeholders applicable to supply chain.

THE PROCESS
