Shift Supervisor - Marian Mill

About the role

Reporting to the site Production Manager, as a Shift Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in our on-site production team, leading with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. With your expertise in industrial processing and demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment, you'll guide your team towards success while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

During the maintenance season (non-crush), you will help co-ordinate and supervise safe and efficient maintenance of the plant including delivery of improvement initiatives.

Skills Required

The preferred candidate should possess the following:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Applied Science or Sugar Technology,(desirable) mechanical trade qualifications (highly regarded).

• Minimum of 5 years knowledge and understanding of industrial processing
• Must Hold Full Working Rights for Australia
• Experience in and knowledge of environmental management systems and processes
• Knowledge and end experience in the operation of a manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a Production and / or Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a team, develop employees and identify improvement opportunities
• Problem solving, proactive and energetic approach
