Our flagship platform, SchoolBench, helps schools securely manage, protect and publish photos and videos through modern technologies including AI, facial recognition, mobile applications, secure publishing platforms, GitLab CI/CD, cloud integrations and automation.
We are seeking two Software Developers to join our product team:
• Frontend Developer (React)
• Backend Developer (C++/Rust / Python)
You will work within a small product-focused team where your work directly contributes to product direction, customer outcomes, and technical innovation.
Design, develop and deliver new product features
Build clean, maintainable and reusable code
Collaborate with Product, QA and Support teams
Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
Design and implement automated testing
Improve application performance, reliability and scalability
Contribute to product innovation and continuous improvement
2+ years commercial development experience
Strong React experience
Strong CSS skills (Bootstrap desirable)
Experience building responsive user interfaces
Understanding of REST APIs
Strong software development fundamentals
TypeScript
Redux / RxJS
GitLab CI/CD
Experience working with image, video or media platforms
3+ years commercial development experience
Strong Rust and/or C++ experience
Experience building REST APIs
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
SQL and database programming
Linux experience
Networking and security experience
SSL and encryption technologies
Experience working with image, video or media platforms
Small team with genuine ownership and influence
Modern technology stack
