About You
You’re an experienced senior Software Engineer who takes ownership of delivery and works effectively in a collaborative team environment. You apply sound technical judgement, take a proactive approach to improving solutions, and communicate clearly across teams. You stay current with new technologies, continuously develop your skills, and contribute to strong team outcomes.
What You’ll Do
design, build and maintain high quality software solutions
participate in the full software development lifecycle using agile methodologies
collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
contribute to improving development practices and processes
ensure applications are stable and secure across environments
Essential Experience Required
C#/.NET (including .NET 6/8+) and building Web API / RESTful services
Front-end development experience using Angular or React, with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
Azure services and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps)
Azure App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage and Azure SQL
Unit testing and automated testing practices (e.g. TDD/BDD)
Secure coding practices and API security standards
Working in Git-based source control environments
Integration patterns or messaging-based systems (ideally within healthcare or eHealth environments)
Delivering software solutions in a commercial environment
AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
AI tools to improve productivity, code quality and documentation
AI usage, including security and data handling
AI capabilities and integrate them into workflows
Review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and compliance
Desirable Experience
Microservices, distributed systems or event-driven architecture
Containerisation, observability and monitoring practices
Performance, load and integration testing
Integration patterns, messaging-based systems and API gateway concepts
Familiarity with Cosmos DB, SignalR, PowerShell or Selenium
Designing, developing and supporting secure APIs and healthcare integrations
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR
Delivering software solutions within healthcare or pharmacy environments
Other Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Federal Police Check and Baseline Security Clearance (as required)
