Task & responsibilities
- Determine product range, monitor stock levels, and maintain service standards to ensure smooth daily store operations.
- Develop and implement purchasing, sales, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Plan and execute promotional and marketing activities to enhance business visibility and customer engagement.
- Lead customer service and sales activities by assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, financial transactions, and operational reports for effective business management.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial planning to achieve business targets and operational efficiency.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance to maintain a productive and motivated team.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies while maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.
Qualification & experience
- Previous experience in store or retail management, or in a senior leadership role within the retail sector.
- A solid understanding of how retail and convenience stores operate, including effective sales strategies.
- Strong skills in communication, team leadership, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Experience in managing inventory, deliveries, and store finances.
- Qualifications in Retail, Hospitality, or Business Management are advantageous.
