About the Role

Cavpower is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Storeperson at the state-of-the-art Parts Centre at Gepps Cross. Offering unique schedules to suit different preferences. As a Storeperson your primary responsibilities will involve handling the receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts and components with precision and efficiency.

Key responsibilities of the role include.

  • Accurately pick and pack parts and components ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging for delivery.
  • Provide prompt and timely delivery of parts to both internal and external customers, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service.
  • Participating in Contamination Control and Quality Assurance procedures within the warehouse.
  • Meet and exceed required targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for picking and packing operations, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Undertake general warehousing duties, including organising stock, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in warehouse and distribution operations
  • Experience with Caterpillar is desired but not essential
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid forklift license
  • Valid LO licence
  • Strong understanding of stock control methods
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, adapting to changing priorities and working efficiently under pressure
