  • *What you'll do:** We're looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Structural Integrity team within WSP's Mining business.

This is a hands-on role combining inspection, assessment and engineering judgement across a range of operating mine sites and assets. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and clients to assess the condition and performance of structures, helping extend asset life and ensure safe, compliant operations.

  • Perform structural inspections across mining and materials handling assets
  • Identify and assess defects (impact damage, corrosion, fatigue, non-compliance)
  • Analyse static machinery and structural systems to evaluate integrity
  • Prepare clear inspection reports and practical repair/rectification methodologies
  • Conduct risk assessments for structural components and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support clients with ongoing asset management and maintenance decisions
  • Travel to site regularly, including remote mining operations **About you:**
  • 3-5 years' experience in structural design, inspection, or integrity assessment
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering standards (AS4324.1, AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS1657)
  • Exposure to asset management, materials handling equipment, or mining infrastructure
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in the office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to site and work in remote environments
  • Current WA driver's licence and Construction White Card **Why WSP?
