Australian Institute of Maintenance Engineering (AIME RTO52920) is growing.
We’re looking for an energetic and organised person to support our students, help keep programs running smoothly, and assist young people as they study and transition toward employment.
This is a hands-on role working directly with students, trainers and support staff, suited to someone who’s recently entered this space, currently studying or someone who’s deeply passionate about assisting our youth in their development.
You don’t need to come from a traditional training background, but you do need to be confident with people, proactive, organised and genuinely care about helping young people succeed.
About the role:
This role combines student support, engagement and administration.
Along with our supporting team, you'll help students stay on track, support trainers with day-to-day coordination, follow up attendance and participation, and assist with employment participation.
No two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
• Support students throughout their training journey
• Follow up attendance, engagement and participation
• Assist students with general support and guidance
• Help maintain a positive and professional training environment
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to training staff
• Maintain student records, contact notes and follow-up actions
• Support program coordination and general operations
About you
You may have experience in:
• Youth work or community services
• Employment services
• Apprenticeships or trainee support
• Training organisations or education
• Administration or customer service
• Coaching, mentoring or support roles
You’ll suit this role if you:
• Are confident talking with people from all backgrounds
• Can build rapport quickly with young people
• Are organised and able to multitask
• Are proactive and reliable
• Have good communication skills
• Can handle both people-focused work and administration
• Bring positive energy to a team environment
This role could suit someone currently studying in a related field or looking to grow their experience in training, youth support, employment pathways or workforce development.
