About the Role
As the Supervisor of Wet Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the wet manufacturing department. You will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality output, and uphold full compliance with GMP and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and coordinate daily wet manufacturing operations to achieve production targets
· Manufacture bulk products such as liquids, creams, gels, and aqueous formulations, and convert them into finished goods
· Manage the preparation and assembly of raw materials for batch production
· Perform dispensing activities, including weighing, mixing, measuring, and loading ingredients
· Operate manufacturing and processing equipment safely and efficiently
· Prepare products for packing and perform bulk product packing as required
· Conduct in-process and finished product sampling and testing
· Accurately complete and review batch records, quality documentation, and ensure material traceability
· Record material details and in-process data in line with compliance requirements
· Set up, operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing equipment
· Train and support new team members to ensure adherence to procedures and standards
· Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GLP, and Martin & Pleasance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
What You’ll Bring to the Role
· 2–5 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment and/or a Certificate III in Process Manufacturing
· Proven experience in compounding, including blending emulsions, suspensions, creams, and lotions
· Strong numerical skills, with the ability to perform basic calculations (e.g., weights, measurements, batch calculations)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to read, interpret, and apply work instructions, SOPs, and batch documentation
· Solid understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
· Experience completing quality procedures and batch records with a high degree of accuracy
· Physical capability to lift up to 30 kg
