We are now looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Retail Manager to lead our store team and drive the continued success of our Cranbourne location.

Task & responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage the store team on a day-to-day basis
• Oversee all store operations including opening/closing, stock control, merchandising and visual presentation
• Manage inventory ordering, supplier relationships and cost control
• Achieve sales targets and grow store profitability
• Deliver outstanding customer service and handle customer queries/complaints
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, health & safety, and food safety compliance
• Manage cash, banking, rosters and daily financial reporting
• Train and develop staff to deliver excellent service

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager or Assistant Manager 
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Sound knowledge of POS systems, inventory management and retail operations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Passion for retail and genuine interest in ethnic grocery products
