Team Leader - Manufacturing

At Atmo Biosciences, we're developing medical technology with the potential to improve patient outcomes globally and we're looking for a Team Leader - Manufacturing to help lead a high-performing production team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining technical problem-solving, process improvement and people leadership in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

About the role

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of our manufacturing cell, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll:

• Manage inventory; placing orders, undertaking inwards goods inspections and receiving

• Create manufacturing orders

• Prepare Device History Records, including oversight and guidance to ensure team member records are of high quality

• Lead and support a small production team to deliver quality outcomes

• Coach, develop and build team capability through training and support

• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and process optimisation, including documenting improvements in manufacturing work instructions

• Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to solve problems and improve performance

• Monitor production metrics, quality and workflow performance.

About you

You may come from medical devices, advanced manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceuticals, electronics or another regulated environment.

• Experience in complex product assembly or manufacturing

• Team leadership or coordination experience

• A continuous improvement mindset (lean, kaizen or process optimisation experience valued)

• Strong collaboration skills and high attention to detail.
