We are looking for a Team Leader - Support Worker (NDIS) based within Sydney South West to service Campbelltown, Liverpool, Bankstown and Inner Sydney, including surrounding areas.
The role of Team Leader - Support Worker (NDIS) involves both leading and mentoring a team, as well as directly supporting people with disability when required. You will have an understanding of the dynamic nature of support work and a dedication to minimising the risks associated with the service, you will provide effective individualised and tailored supports to NDIS participants to enable them to achieve their goals.
You will do this whilst considering input from all stakeholders associated with each participant. These supports will promote community inclusion, independence, decision making, choice and control. The role of Team Leader - Support Worker (NDIS) will also be responsible for delivering support and services to a caseload of participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
You will take responsibility for the delivery of a high quality of service, referrals, rostering, professional development and supervision of a team of Support Workers and positive participant outcomes and ensure a streamlined service for all stakeholders of the NDIS@WISE team based in Sydney South West.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Clearance Check and Working with Children Check, have the legal right to work in Australia, and obtain an NDIS Worker Screening clearance prior to being offered a role with WISE Employment.
