We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major enterprise transformation program for a large governemnt body. This role will focus on business analysis, UAT preparation and support, data readiness, defect management, and reporting solutions across a complex technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements

• Support UAT planning, test scenario development and business validation activities

• Review data mappings, file specifications and test data requirements

• Analyse and triage defects, working with business and technical teams to resolve issues

• Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, testers, developers and project teams

• Develop technical specifications and support reporting and analytics solutions, including Databricks

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology optimisation

Skills and experience

• Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst within large technology projects

• Strong experience with requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management

• Proven background supporting UAT, testing and defect management

• Strong data literacy with CSV, XML, JSON and flat files

• Experience analysing end-to-end business processes and system integrations

• Exposure to Databricks, data platforms or reporting solutions

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across business and technical teams

• Government, health, insurance or disability sector experience highly regarded

• Knowledge of data governance and information management
