We are seeking a proactive and experienced Technology & Security Coordinator to take ownership of Woodland's technology systems, physical security infrastructure, and safeguarding practices across multiple early learning centres. This is an exciting opportunity for a technology professional looking to broaden their experience across IT, cybersecurity, physical security, and compliance, with the potential to grow into a Technology & Security Manager role as the function continues to evolve.
About the Role
Reporting to the COO, this is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of IT support, robust security systems, and compliance with legislative and safeguarding requirements. You will work closely with centre teams and leadership to embed best practices, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our systems support both operational excellence and child safety.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage IT support services across all centres, ensuring reliable and responsive technology solutions
Manage IT asset lifecycle, including deployment and operational readiness
Lead the implementation, management, and optimisation of Microsoft Office 365 across the organisation
Manage, consolidate and optimise key platforms (OWNA, HubSpot, Airtable)
Develop, implement, and maintain technology and security policies aligned with legislative and regulatory requirements
Manage CCTV, security, and surveillance systems to ensure the safety and protection of children, staff, and centres
Ensure secure storage, handling, and protection of sensitive information and systems
Conduct regular security audits across centres to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Develop and implement corrective action plans to address gaps and strengthen compliance
Deliver training and ongoing support to centre teams to build capability and awareness in security and technology practices
Embed a strong culture of security, privacy, and safeguarding across the organisation
Lead new centre setups and build scalable, standardised IT processes for growth
About You
Demonstrated experience in IT support, technology operations, and/or physical security systems.
Strong understanding of data protection, privacy requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience managing security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control platforms.
Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, identify risks, and implement improvements
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support non-technical stakeholders.
Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and projects.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
