Task & responsibilities

• Design and develop telecommunications and communications infrastructure systems for commercial and infrastructure projects
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations and project documentation
• Assist with the design and integration of fibre optic, structured cabling and communications network infrastructure
• Coordinate telecommunications engineering designs with electrical, civil and other project stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, contractors, authorities and telecommunications providers throughout project delivery
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical engineering support during construction and implementation phases
• Ensure engineering designs comply with Australian Standards, telecommunications requirements and client specifications
• Contribute to project planning, technical problem solving and delivery outcomes

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Experience in telecommunications infrastructure and engineering design projects
• Strong understanding of Australian engineering and telecommunications standards
• Strong communication, technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
