Territory Account Manager – Engineering (Sales)
An industry-leading critical infrastructure solutions provider is seeking a relationship-driven
Territory Account Manager to grow and strengthen partnerships across
Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
This is a highly people-focused role suited to a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building genuine relationships, developing trust, and uncovering new business opportunities. Working across a well-established territory, you’ll engage with consultants and contractors, drive specification opportunities, support sales growth, and represent the business through client meetings, technical briefings, and industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key consultants and contractors across the Southern Region
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and emerging accounts
- Drive engagement activities including client presentations, masterclasses and promotional events
- Influence project specifications and create opportunities for product and service sales
- Collaborate closely with internal sales and product teams to maximise growth
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to expand market presence
- Travel interstate periodically to maintain and grow regional relationships
What we’re looking for: - 5+ years’ experience in sales or account management
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially savvy with a proactive, disciplined sales approach
- Confident presenter with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, or within related industries is highly regarded
- A personable, adaptable and outgoing approach – personality and relatability are key
- Existing industry networks would be advantageous
