About The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Trade Assistant to support our maintenance team at our Ingleburn branch.
In this role you will assist with the maintenance, repair, painting and refurbishment of LPG tanks, cylinders, stillages and associated equipment, helping ensure safe, efficient and compliant workshop operations.
You will work closely with maintenance technicians and workshop personnel and play an important role in maintaining equipment used across our national operations.
What You Will Be Doing
Assist with servicing, repairing and refurbishing LPG tanks, cylinders and valves Support maintenance technicians with installation and repair works Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities Support breakdown repairs and maintenance tasks across Supagas branches when required Assist with stocktakes of LPG vessels, spare parts and workshop materials Prepare vessels, stillages and equipment for inspection and painting Perform surface preparation, repairs and painting activities Clean and prepare equipment for dispatch Assist with plant installations and maintenance activities Maintain a clean and organised workshop and yard Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
Skills and Experiences:
About You
Essential Requirements:
White Card General welding experience Current Driver’s Licence Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence) Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks Ability to safely use hand and power tools Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
Highly Regarded
Trade qualification (Refrigeration Technician, Fitter, or Plumber) Experience in LPG or Industrial Gas industry Understanding of gas installations, cylinder filling or bulk gas systems Confined Space Entry certification Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence Disconnect/Reconnect Electrical licence
