About the Role:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Trade Course Trainers and Assessors to deliver and assess any of the following in accordance with ASQA standards:

  • Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology (MSF30322)

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)

  • Certificate III in Joinery (CPC31920)

  • Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (CPC32620)

The ideal candidates will bring industry expertise, passion for training, and commitment to maintaining high-quality learning outcomes for students aspiring to become skilled tradesmen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and compliant training sessions in any of the courses mentioned above

  • Conduct assessments in line with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence

  • Develop and contextualise learning resources as per student and industry needs

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes

  • Provide support and feedback to students to enhance learning outcomes

  • Ensure training delivery and assessment meet RTO and ASQA compliance requirements

  • Participate in validation and moderation activities

  • Stay up to date with current industry practices and maintain currency in cabinet making and timber technology

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualifications mentioned above or equivalent trade qualifications

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor, or TAE40110 with upgrade units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502)

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent industry experience in the trade applying for

  • Knowledge of current industry tools, equipment, and WHS standards

  • Experience delivering training in a VET setting (desirable but not mandatory for entry)

  • Organised and self-motivated with attention to detail

  • Familiarity with online training platforms and digital delivery tools

  • Commitment to student success and support
