This is a rare chance to be part of an exciting newly developed role — shaping training programs and delivering nationally accredited security courses. You’ll play a pivotal role in building capability, safety, and service standards from the ground up.

While this role is based in Brisbane, we welcome applications from interstate candidates who are willing and able to travel as required.

About the Role

Reporting to the RTO Manager and working closely with the operational and recruitment teams, you will:

  • Deliver and assess Certificate II in Transport Security Protection programmes.
  • Train new aviation security personnel for passenger and cargo screening.
  • Facilitate in-person, online and hybrid assessments whilst providing one-on-one support to learners.
  • Track student progression and provide guidance throughout the learning journey.
  • Assist with course content updates, industry compliance, and national delivery standards.
  • Facilitate training onsite in our Training Rooms and at airport and cargo facilities.
  • Play an active role in professional development, validation, and RTO compliance activities.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Be part of a dynamic and growing team
  • Facilitate training and assessment for various aviation facilities, including the new Western Sydney Airport
  • Help define and embed training standards from day one
  • Take ownership of the TSP Program end-to-end

What You’ll Need

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
  • AVI20325 – Certificate II in Transport Security Protection, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in aviation security (with strong operational knowledge)
  • Proven ability to train, coach and support learners in both face-to-face and online settings
  • Current or eligible ASIC
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders

Desirable

  • Certificate II or III in Security Operations
  • Experience using online LMS platforms

  • Deliver training on-site where aviation operations are just beginning to take shape
  • Help define and embed training standards from day one
  • A company that values your real-world experience and empowers you to lead
  • Supportive culture that values safety, integrity, and continuous improvement
