The Opportunity
The Training Officer is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing training programs for CBS Group staff. The role involves the development of training material and systems in collaboration with staff and the management team. The role also reviews effectiveness of existing technical material, company processes and procedures and implements improvements of these programs.
Main duties and responsibilities
Addressing skills deficits through tailored in-house training.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying skill gaps and providing support and training opportunities to staff and management.
Maintaining training records and the Learning Management System.
Orienting new staff to their function as well as established company norms.
Working closely with the CBS Management Team and providing technical and procedural support to staff as required.
Coordinating external training as the need arises.
Drafting instructional training, onboarding materials, and other relevant documentation in consultation with CBS staff and management.
Review of Lessons Learned reports and identifying training and improvement and training opportunities.
Coaching staff as required to assist their performance.
About you
Construction Industry experience (desirable)
2+ years' experience in a training role (desirable)
Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
Adaptable, problem solver
