Task & responsibilities

• Driving trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
• Loading and unloading goods, or assisting with loading and unloading where required.
• Ensuring all goods are secured correctly before transport.
• Planning delivery routes and meeting delivery schedules.
• Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records, logbooks, and other transport documentation.
• Complying with road safety regulations, company policies, and transport industry requirements.
• Communicating professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Keeping the vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition.

Qualification & experience

• At least 3–4 years of work experience in a similar truck driving role.
• A valid truck driver’s licence.
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and transport regulations.
• Ability to follow delivery schedules and work independently.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• A responsible, reliable, and safety-focused attitude.
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Fatigue management certificate.
