Task & responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods safely to designated locations 
• Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections 
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo 
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently 
• Monitor vehicle performance and report faults or maintenance needs 
• Maintain logbooks and delivery documentation accurately 
• Comply with road laws, fatigue management, and safety regulations 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members 

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate II or III in Driving Operations (or equivalent) preferred 
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field
• Relevant heavy vehicle driver’s licence (HR/HC/MC as required) 
• Good driving record and knowledge of road safety regulations 
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks 
• Strong time management and reliability 
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks
