Position Title – Truck Operator

Provide truck operations in locations and with the team as directed, and complete works to specification.

Tasks Include

• manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
• observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely 
• estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight 
• ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage 
• verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtraining certification of deliveries
• drives a heavy truck, requiring a specially endorsed class of licence to transport bulky goods. 
• Registration or licensing is required

Company Requirements & Qualifications and Skills

• check oil, water, tyres and grease machine daily, blowout aircleaners daily
• keep accurate records as instructed by Supervisor
• able to pass a Full medical examination including a Laboratory Drug and Alcohol test
• National Australian Police Clearance
• comply with all NGE company policies, processes and procedures
• working within applicable controls documented in company Safe Work Method Statement
• wearing and using of personal protective equipment where necessary

• Industry skills and knowledge and experience relevant to the role
• Strong work ethic and to be willing to learn
• Truck Drivers Licence HC/MC
• Fatigue certification
• Fitness to Drive medical
• White card

Full Time position with a Salary range  $110,000pa - $120,000
