Position Overview: We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic teachers to join our team from June 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Positions available:
Violin teacher - contractor
Art teacher - part-time/casual
PreK Phonics and Maths Educator - part-time/casual
Responsibilities:
Violin Teacher
We teach private violin lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, but the majority of our students are of primary school age.
Develop personalised lesson plans to meet the needs and goals of each student
Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and AMEB exams.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skills
Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student progress
be able to commit at least 1 afternoon per week, term-based.
Art Teacher:
Teach group lessons up to 8 students in a class (from Kindy onwards)
be able to teach most techniques, including crayons, color pencils, watercolor, and acrylic painting
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skills
Communicate effectively with parents to discuss student progress
Preferred availability 5 weekday afternoons 3-6:30pm (during school term) and Saturdays whole day. Total weekly working hours are subject to enrolment but are estimated to be around 20-30 hours per week.
Phonics Program Teacher:
Deliver structured phonics lessons using age-appropriate teaching methods.
Teach letter-sound relationships, blending, segmenting, decoding, and early spelling skills.
Develop lesson plans that align with children's developmental stages.
Use games, songs, stories, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging.
Support children with varying learning abilities and learning styles.
Communicate effectively with parents to discuss student progress
Suitable for teachers who like to take extra work outside school hours.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in teaching or equivalent experience
2 years of previous teaching experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students
Valid Australian work visa or citizenship required
