Casual Vineyard Operator

Location: Pokolbin, Hunter Valley

Hours: Up to 38 per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vineyard Operator to join our team servicing premium vineyards across the Hunter valley.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working outdoors. This position is offered on a casual basis with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Operating tractors and Vineyard machinery

• Applying fungicides and herbicides in line with safety standards

• Performing Vineyard task including pruning, harvesting, shoot thinning, suckering and trellis maintenance

• Maintaining high standards of Vineyard care and presentation

• Working both independently and as part of a team

  Skills & Experiece

  To be successful in this role, You will have:

• Proven Vineyard experience

• Tractor operating experience

• Chemical handling certificate

• Strong understanding of Vineyard operations and seasonal tasks

• High level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual work

• Reliable work ethic's and strong attention to detail

• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

• Current drivers license and reliable transport

  Desirable

• Forklift license

• Truck license
