Your role is dynamic! From enhancing accessibility to helping us streamline our operations, you will ensure all our clients in need are able to access essential food services and have a welcoming environment!
Some of your key responsibilities include:
• Deliver and collect bread products from Woolworths, ensuring timely and efficient
distribution.
• Participate in promoting the Gordonvale Food Pantry, seeking out community
donation opportunities to enhance support.
• Collaborate with volunteers and team members to facilitate Food Pantry operations
and maintain opening hours.
• Engage with external services linked to the Food Pantry, fostering partnerships and
community connections for broader impact.

Skills and Requirements
• Minimum availability on Food Bank day- currently on Thursdays.
• Ability to lift up to 15kg bread bins onto trolley or into vehicle.
• Current open Qld Drivers Licence to transport food items (use of TBS owned
vehicle will be provided).
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills especially the ability to interact
face to face with people in need or crisis.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and
Criminal Record Check.
