As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Queensland team (location: 26 Strathwyn Street, Brendale, QLD 4500).

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Assistant at HAMER 4X4, you will be playing a critical role in supporting company’s warehouse and workshop operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and safe handling of goods. You will be responsible for picking, packing, quality checking, dispatch preparation, and maintaining high standards of organisation, accuracy, and customer service within the warehouse.

What you will be doing:

• Process stock for dispatch and handle customer collections with top-notch service

• Receive incoming goods and shipments

• Load and Unload trucks

• Prepare workshop orders days or week ahead

• Unpack, remove, and lay down all needed products for the Accessories Fitters

• Occasionally, help and lift the bull bar along with the Accessories Fitters

• Consolidate products to pallet to maximise racking space

• Maintain organisation within the warehouse, including receiving stock shipments and managing stock placements

• Stock take

• Collaborate with team members, customers, and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations

• Assist in warehouse administration and related tasks as instructed

• Uphold HAMER's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

About You:

• An individual with prior experience in a warehouse or similar role

• Pick, Pack and Dispatch is part of your daily routine

• Strong work ethic and dedication to the task

• Fit and ability to work independently / efficiently

• Attention to details

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• Team player attitude and the ability to collaborate with others

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with stock-take, stock-control, and related warehouse tasks

• Current driver’s license and forklift / high-reach forklift license (required)

Remuneration:

This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience, but it will be an hourly rate of between $28 – $33.
