We are a specialist ICT consultancy who is looking to engage a Mid-Level Web Systems Analyst / Technical Business Analyst with good knowledge and experience in business analysis, UI/UX design, foundational technical skills, development processes, standards in a corporate environment using contemporary industry standard tools. On offer is an initial 6 Month contract, with the option of a further 6 Month extension. This is also hybrid position with flexible hours and scope to work from home 2 days per week. You will be working closely with a team of business stakeholders, Application Support Manager and software developers within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of corporate web and low-code applications.
Run requirements workshops with business stakeholders and users to elicit and document Business and technical requirements
Ensure the development of the department's web and low-code applications, services and technologies comply with relevant State Government policies and guidelines
Working and collaborating with technical leads and lead developers to draft the system specifications for input into the technical development team(s).
Contribute to the department meeting its statutory obligations in relation to relevant WA public sector legislation, ethics, standards and policies.
Background & Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Web Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in an Agile environment
Good knowledge and experience in Web applications and/or Web systems, UI/UX design, foundational technical skills, development processes, standards in a corporate environment using contemporary industry standard tools.
Good knowledge, experience and exposure to low-code application platforms and development, basic scripting languages for writing custom business logic, forms and workflow automation, JSON, XML, and familiarity with databases design, relational databases, data extraction and reporting, SQL querying and system integrations.
Ability to gather and analyse requirements, possesses problem and troubleshooting skills in providing maintenance to web and low-code applications, services and technologies of a large organization, utilising both modern and legacy tools.
Experience using tools such as Devops, ServiceNow or similar platforms is desirable.
Good written communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience within WA Government highly regarded

A 6 Month + 6 Month contract position where you will play an integral role within a highly professional and dynamic team.
This is an autonomous role within a very relaxed working environment.
Work from home 2 days per week plus flexible working hours between 7am and 6pm.
7.5 hour day.
Immediate start (however this is negotiable)
Pay rate of circa $80 to $95 per hour (inclusive of super), depending on experience level.
