SmartFrame by Tilling is seeking highly capable Yard Hand / Forklift Operator to join our Kilsyth team in a full-time capacity.

We’re looking for a skilled and responsible labourer with experience handling timber or bulky materials in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The right candidate will understand the importance of safety, accurate picking, and supporting our transport and despatch functions to the highest standard.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Picking orders

• Packing, wrapping and strapping timber orders

• Moving stock and other yard duties as required

• Use of chainsaw / Drop saw / Docker saw

• Re-wrapping and sorting through packs of timber

• General housekeeping to keep the yard tidy

• Use of handheld tablets & PC with basic data entry

• Sound understanding of WH&S practices

• Adhering to company policies

Behavioural Competencies /Expectations:

• Must be physically fit with the ability to undertake manual handling activities

• Forklift license (Advantageous) 

• Ability to follow operating procedures

• Ability to follow directions from supervisors and Management

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Basic abilities to read and write

• Willingness to learn, improve, and adapt

• Ability to understand and perform picking duties using paper and paperless systems (handheld devices)

A Pre-employment medical will be required (including a drug screen).  

A reasonable level of fitness with a strong and committed work ethic is required for this role.
